This system is owned by BEST BICYCLE SERVICES LTD represented by MUKABALISA Annonciatha, and it is designed to enhance the Registration, Mutation, Control, and Security of Motorcycles and Bicycles between Sellers and Buyers.
1. Registration
Each bike is registered in a centralized database using unique Identifiers (Frame number, Serial number, or QR code). The application stores ownership details, bike specifications with its photo. Owner details and bike specifications are recorded to establish ownership.
2. Mutations (Changes)
When ownership changes, or any other modification like color or accessories are made, the database is updated. This keeps records current and helps identify stolen or modified bikes.
3. Control
Authorities or management systems can track registered bicycles. In smart systems, GPS technology helps monitor movement and usage, especially for shared or e-bikes.
4. Security (Theft Prevention)
If a bike is reported stolen, it is tracked in the system through mobile apps. Integrated GPS tracking and smart locks can be paired with the app for real-time location updates and remote lock control, helping prevent theft and recover stolen bikes more efficiently.
